In may 2014, specialists of the company "Unicom" developed a new model of cable roller with a cut-off, designed to descend through it into an oil or gas well armored power cable. The design of the roller provides cable cutting in case of emergency. The new model differs from the previously produced rollers in a round shape, as well as a simpler and more reliable design. At the moment, the roller is being tested at the Unicom plant, after which it will be sent directly to the consumer for further operation.
